Yes they have melon pan. If you don't see it on display ask the cashier
No
I've had red bean "mochi" from there, though I don't see it all the time. It's a bit different from Japanese mochi.
Very simple interior but the baked goods are all so good and so CHEAP. We stopped by this bakery every day on our trip to Toronto and it was well worth it.
At Mashion Bakery, we can find excellent Chinese pastries at reasonable prices.
Wonderful bakery! I went there for my first time yesterday and have been there 3 times since!
They have the best steamed pork bun you can find around! The meat inside is really big and juicy. Also it's very clean and the breads are moist & tasty!!
Quality baked items for affordable prices. Have tried almost all of the vegetarian options available. Taro pastries (1$), sponge cakes (1$) and coconut tarts (5 for 2$) are my favourites (prices as of May 2020).
Try getting some home made style oriental buns with affordable price and good filling and taste...
On Spadina Avenue near college Street. Variety pastry. Economical cost
Incredibly cheap and delicious Chinese bakery. No idea how they get their prices so low, while maintaining decent quality. Many of their buns have bulk 5 for $2 deals!!
Been here twice and each time it continues to impress me! Love the buns and very affordable pricing. Under $15 must pay a $1 fee if you pay with debit.
Great products for great price! Have known them for last few years and my partner and I love getting their chicken sandwiches/burgers. Keep it up!
Very reasonable prices and consistent quality. This Chinese bakery has a large array of sweet items, but I'm a big fan of the pork buns.
If you're looking for cheap and tasty egg tarts, this place is to right for you!! They're super friendly and was able to accommodate a large order in less than 24 hours. Would definitely recommend to others and return! :)
Good range of fresh products with the low prices of your typical Chinese bakery
great bakery! nice staff, extremely affordable pastries, and the dumplings are filled with a great dough to filling ratio!
The only Asian bakery I ever go to anymore. Absolutely LOVE the pineapple buns!!
I've been coming here for years and I don't think I will ever stop! The food is delicious & has always been consistent over the years. I find it to be one of the better priced bakeries on Spadina, and definitely the best tasting!! You better get here early in the day, they always sell out of their more popular items!
What a great place to drop in and buy some freshly made goods to eat while there, while walking along Spadina, or even to take home and eat with friends and family. They have a very nice selection of baked goods and even their bbq chicken sandwiches by the cash register, all at a very reasonable price and great quality. And trying to limit your purchases just isn't possible at this place. Enjoy!
Affordable, can obtain many products for low value, made fresh daily, and allows food to be eaten onsite hot by microwave they provide after purchase to enjoy as soon as possible.
I stopped by here to grab some bread, and I got two peanut mochis, two red bean ones, a green onion bread, and a green bean pineapple bun. The mochis were not very sticky and the filling was not very much compared to the mochi around it. The green onion bread was quite tasty, as there were a lot of green onions and the bread was chewy. The green bean pineapple bun was not as good; the bread didn't really have the right texture, and the pineapple part was not crunchy at all. All of this was $4.60 (CAD) including tax, which was a pretty good price for all the food.
My go-to spot for Chinese baked goods when I'm rolling around in Chinatown. They've got really good prices (usually 4 buns for around $2-3) and really good quality food. The place is clean and has a fairly wide selection to choose from. Service is brisk and polite so don't go in expecting to chat with them about the weather or anything. They've even got a microwave for any items you buy that you want to heat up and eat on the spot.
Amazing place for Chinese food at even more amazing prices. I go there around once a week to pick up porkbuns and they're amazing every time. Cooked perfectly and easy to reheat at home. One of the best parts has to be the price tho, super cheap so it's an amazing spot for students! Of you're looking for some amazing Chinese food this is a great place to go!
My favourite bakery in Chinatown! They are open a bit longer than Furama and the others, and the selection always tastes fresh. Sweet bean rice balls are amazing, and there are vegetarian savoury options like spring rolls and rice cakes. Also what absolutely sets it apart for from the other bakeries is the friendly smile and thank you when you make your purchase. It's such a simple thing, and yet can mean the world to a customer.
Fluffy tasty steam buns. Great price!
Great place! Good prices, fresh, and very tasteful, the best bakery in Chinatown. (Bring cash if you are paying less than $15!).
Love this place. Always go when I'm in town. Food is cheap and great.
Great little Chinese bakery! Lots of freshly made dessert and snack items. Walk in, grab a tray and tongs, and place items onto your tray. Then pay at the cash. Always have tasty treats. They also make Chinese cakes, which are not as rich as typical American "birthday cakes" but still taste great! The staff is great and friendly and even help with last minute cake orders!
Love this place! Hard to think of anything less expensive in the area. They have a couple tables to eat in but this is definitely more of a spot to pick up food and take it away.
Very very affordable. All the buns/sweets are a dollar or less. And 100% worth that. My favourite is the veggie pork bun. The bread is sooo soft and the meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend.
Wonderful, the BBQ pork buns are amazing. Everything we got was so tasty.
Great combination of good prices, quality buns, and friendly owners. Probably my go-to Chinese bakery in Toronto.
Great selection of eastern baked goods. The cakes were perfectly fluffy and delicious and very fresh. I was incredibly impressed by the low prices here. Some items as low as $0.50 for very decent portions. Will definitely return!
Delicious and affordable Asian bakery. $1 coffee, various buns, cakes and baked goods for under $1. Highly recommended trying their spinach cheese bagels 😋👍🏽
Super cheap for what you get the steam buns are awesome. The coconut cream buns are amazing everything is amazing
They dont appreciate their regulars. The female owner is nasty even during this time
For the price, this bakery is pretty great. Where else can you get steamed buns for a dollar? There isn't much filling, sure, but it's very inexpensive. You can get a decent lunch for under $5. I also heard the chicken burgers near the front are pretty good so I'll definitely be back!
I love this place. Yummy pastries and has great prices
Super cheap snack place. They have Hong Kong style milk tea too. The bread taste different. But good enough.
Fantastic prices for good food. The pork buns are amazing, as well as their goodies filled with red bean paste. Don't fill up your tray too much before you get up front, there is lots of good stuff at the cash too! They take debit but if you spend less than $15 they charge you an extra $1 for using it.
Everything was amazing and fresh and prices are very good
Best Asian bakery in Chinatown! Super tasty desserts and the only bakery that accepts card (Debit). The prices here are also much cheaper than the other bakeries in the area. I highly recommend the flaky crust egg tart.
Especially during these times of social distancing. Treat yourself to a steamed pork buns or a walnut cookie!
Love this place and always come back when I'm downtown and craving Asian bakery food. Easily my favourite bakery where you get the maximum value for your money (all buns are less than $1 each and most cost less in bulk) and they're even open on Christmas. In general with all bakeries of this sort it's cash preferred with a charge on debit unless you're buying +$15.
Great prices, tasty pastries. Nicely laid out wares, and place was pretty clean and well lot. I appreciated the small sitting area, where you can take a short break to relax.
Best chinese bakery in downtown area. Their blueberry pineapple bun and egg tart taste amazing. Do bring ur cash so that u guys don’t need to pay extra 1 dollar for using machine!!
Chinese meat&veggie bun for great price. And also a good place for bakery.
Good value! Attentive staff. Clean shop! Very nice pork buns!
Classic Chinese bakery! Love the egg tarts and the pineapple bread. Also good place for Hong Kong milk tea.
